Was there for a wedding reception and it was excellent. The duck was the best I ever had and the carrot cake was also great. Appetizers were very good and really liked the mini crab cakes.

We loved this charming inn! It is so comfortable, spacious, and has such an imaginative variety of antiques and decor in its many seating areas inside and out...and there is a pool! Our room was lovely, sunny and quite large, with a comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious, with special attention paid to my dietary restrictions, and our hostess was very gracious.

02/16/18 My wife and I recently enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Inn. Our hosts, who live there, made certain that everything was perfect. The room was just the right size for us and the view of the mountains was terrific. The dining (and dancing) area is spacious and filled with period antiques and classic artwork. We will go back in the summer to enjoy the pool and the beautifully maintained grounds. You can drive to Stockbridge in five minutes and enjoy the museums, art galleries and antique shops. We had a great time and we give this Inn our five-star recommendation!

Exquisite! Delicate, well-balanced flavors and textures. Will go again.

The inn is packed with character and antiquities, but the real gem is it's restaurant, Field and Cellar. The cuisine was delectable with all locally sourced ingredients and flavors of the berkshires. Even the plates where made by a local potter in Great Barrington. Every course was delicate and exquisite.
